Why Our Work Matters
Haiti faces unique challenges that disproportionately affect its most vulnerable population: children. Limited access to quality education, inadequate healthcare, food insecurity, and a lack of protective systems leave millions of children without the support they need to thrive.
LHUPC/AED was born from the belief that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance to succeed. We work directly with communities to address these systemic issues through sustainable, locally-driven programs that create lasting change.
Our Story
Founded on December 4, 2023, in P\u00e9tion-Ville, Haiti, LHUPC/AED (Let's Help Underprivileged Children / Aidons les Enfants Défavorisés) emerged from a deep commitment to addressing the educational, health, and protective needs of Haiti's most vulnerable children.
What began as a small group of dedicated individuals united by a common purpose has grown into an organization that serves multiple communities across Haiti. Our founders witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by underprivileged children and knew that sustainable, community-driven solutions were needed to create meaningful change.
Today, LHUPC/AED continues to grow and evolve, driven by the belief that every child deserves access to education, protection, healthcare, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. With the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and community partners, we are making this vision a reality, one child at a time.
